You can attempt to refine your weapon when it gains weapon level starting from level 2. Weapon refining is done by the NPC named Blacksmith Maddox in Sabuk Keep.
Before refining, click “Inquire about refining,” to learn more about how it is done, what materials are needed, etc. Please do not put the weapon you are trying to refine in the refining window. It must be equipped or it will be used as a material.
-Putting high level accessories will increase the chance of successful refining. Weapons do not get destroyed during general refining.
-You only need to put the required number of ores and accessories. Putting more ores or accessories won’t increase the chance of successful refining.
- WeCash Shop ores do not stack, so using 2 will not increase your chance of success any more than using 1
-The purity of Black Iron only affects the success rate of durability refining.
-Only one element of a kind can be added to a weapon. For example, if Wind +1 refining is done on a weapon that has Fire +1, the weapon will have Wind +2.
-Weapon level, attributes, and the number of times it was refined does not affect the success rate of refining.
-The refining process will take 30 minutes. If you don’t retrieve the refined weapon from the NPC within seven days, it will be destroyed.
-Weapon refining can’t be done consecutively. You only get one chance of refining every time it gains weapon level. For example, if weapon refining was not successful in level 3, you need to wait until it reaches level 4 to attempt another refining.
